Amenities
Brigadoon Village offers an electronically-controlled gated entry with gatehouse. The private marina and public boat launch offer access to both the Tennessee and Elk Rivers. When the planned amenities are completed, the community will also feature a clubhouse; a pool; several conveniently-placed parks, perfect for a friendly game of horseshoes or croquet; walking trails with water vistas and spectacular overlooks; tennis, basketball and volleyball courts; wet and dry storage facilities for boats; and storage facilities for trailers and RVs.
Schools
Imagine walking your child to a lovely new neighborhood school. The Limestone County School Board has accepted a donation of acreage adjacent to Brigadoon Village for placement of a new elementary school. When constructed this school will serve grades K through 6 of the Clements School. Floorplans and construction dates to be finalized in 2006.

Water Sports
Brigadoon Village is situated on Wheeler Lake, a reservoir of the Tennessee River. Wheeler, Alabama's second largest lake, covers 67,000 acres and is home to a variety of popular water sports. Wheeler Lake stretches 60 miles from Guntersville Dam to Wheeler Dam near Rogersville, Alabama.
Recreation
Joe Wheeler State Park is located 2 miles west of Rogersville, Alabama, and features a Marina, a Resort Lodge and family-oriented picnic facilities.
Swan Creek Waterfowl Management Area is located in Limestone County near Decatur, Alabama.
Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge is located on the Tennessee River and extends from Decatur to Huntsville, Alabama.
Bay Hill Marina is located in Limestone County, 7 miles from Brigadoon Village, and features a full-service marina with a seasonal restaurant.
Golf
Joe Wheeler State Park Golf Course is located 2 miles west of Rogersville, Alabama and offers 18-holes of championship golf. The course has a setting of rolling hills that tie in with the Tennessee river.
The Blackberry Trail Golf Course, designed by Steven Plumer and located in nearby Florence, Alabama, features rolling fairways, fairway and green side bunkers, undulating bermuda grass greens and scenic wetlands running through the course.
The Cypress Lakes Golf and Country Club is located in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and features a driving range, a clubhouse, twenty lakes, sand bunkers and a signature hole that requires a shot to an island green.
Two Robert Trent Jones golf courses are located within easy driving distance. Hampton Cove, near Huntsville, Alabama, features the Highlands Course, the River Course and the Short Course. The Shoals, near Muscle Shoals, Alabama, features the East championship course, Fighting Joe, and the West course, The Schoolmaster.
